About us
Balqees Welfare Foundation (BWF) was established by Mr. and Mrs. Akhtar to serve the public and support those in need across Pakistan. Our focus is on assisting individuals facing challenges due to youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantages.
Our Mission
Balqees Welfare Foundation supports the unwell and disadvantaged, promotes the education and care of young people, and assists individuals facing the challenges of poverty in Pakistan. We do this by preparing and distributing food parcels to charitable healthcare organisations and vulnerable individuals, as well as providing grants to charitable initiatives in education, shelter, and healthcare.
We are for humanity – secular and non-political.
Recognising the extent of poverty in local communities, our efforts initially focused on providing food to those in need. Over time, we realised that addressing poverty requires a broader approach. Education and healthcare are equally vital in giving individuals the opportunity to improve their lives and build a better future.
Our Goal
Balqees Welfare Foundation supports vulnerable communities through programs that provide food for those in need, inclusive education and welfare support for children living with disabilities or in poverty, assistance for individuals receiving medical care, and financial hardship grants for the most vulnerable.
Through these initiatives, we aim to ease hardship, strengthen communities, and help create opportunities for a better future.
