About us
Balqees Welfare Foundation (BWF) was established by Mr. and Mrs. Akhtar to serve communities across Pakistan, supporting individuals facing challenges due to age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, and other disadvantages.
Our Mission
We are committed to supporting the unwell and disadvantaged, promoting education and care for young people, and addressing poverty through practical support. Our work includes distributing food parcels to vulnerable individuals and healthcare organisations, and providing grants for initiatives in education, shelter, and healthcare.
We are for humanity - secular and non-political.
Our Goal
Recognising that poverty extends beyond basic needs, our programs focus on food assistance, inclusive education for children in need or living with disabilities, medical support, and financial hardship relief. Through these efforts, we aim to ease hardship, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for a better future.
