Balqees Welfare Foundation’s Sustainability Model
The Balqees Welfare Foundation is pioneering a sustainable funding model for its programs through social entrepreneurship and strategic real estate investment. The foundation has developed multi-story commercial buildings, Trust 2 and Trust 3, in the prime Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad. These buildings host various businesses, generating consistent rental income.

Importantly, all rental revenue is reinvested into the foundation’s programs rather than for profit. To date, RS 35,000,000 has been invested in the construction of Trust 2 and Trust 3. Once completed, these projects are expected to significantly enhance the foundation’s funding capacity.

This model not only secures financial stability for the foundation but also promotes local economic growth. By creating commercial spaces, the foundation supports businesses, generates employment, and stimulates the community.

The ongoing development of Trust 2 and Trust 3 demonstrates the foundation’s commitment to sustainability. Through strategic real estate investment, Balqees Welfare Foundation ensures the longevity and impact of its programs while fostering broader economic benefits.
